Ever since I was little I admired street artists and Guinness record breakers performing the art of plate spinning, years later my daily life feels just like that. I have many commitments up in the air.. trying manically to keep them all turning - a 2 yr old, a 1 year old, work, husband, animals and the house... Dashing to and fro, hoping to just keep them all turning!

Rather more rested

Whilst it is not yet a story of sleeping through the night, my wee one is now sleeping close to two hour stretches at night which is great and not having to disturb her brother as much!

This has meant the world of difference to me and as I am slowly catching up on sleep I hope to catch up on chores and also carve some windows of time for blogging, tweeting and much much more!

I can't believe how short my entries are now compared to a year or so ago. Also this afternoon my baby girl is doing an awesome job of entertaining herself, she is close to eleven months old and never really been one to occupy herself - I daren't turn around in case eye contact makes her realise I wasn't beside her the whole time she was playing.

I have set up three play mats each with different toys on - normally I have to lift her between mats every few minutes and switch up the toys to even get a sinkful of dishes done, right now she is crawling and shuffling between the mats and choosing her own toys!

If this wasn't enough the nannyshare idea I was working on a few months ago might be looking more likely - the only challenge now is that the wonderful ECE I had lined up for it may not be available? Fingers crossed she is as this would solve SO MANY issues!
